The IMCCA Inclusion Initiative held a kickoff meeting in September to discuss the mission and future goals for the initiative.

The meeting was hosted by IMCCA board members, Mike Brandofino, IMCCA Chairperson and Dr. S. Ann Earon, IMCCA Founding Chairperson, and led by IMCCA end-users, Anthony DeVergillo and Gary LaSasso from Amicus Therapeutics.

The IMCCA Collaboration Week: A Whole New World Webcast, in lieu of the originally planned UC Week New York, will include three panel discussions by industry experts offering insights into what this new world will be like. Part one will be how we arrived at where we are, and what the data shows that organizations are doing. Part two will be all about the “new office” – a space where group work and collaboration are the predominant activity, and the majority of desks, offices and workstations will be for people who have dropped-by to participate in that group work. Part three will be a detailed analysis of the new home office for the full time or part time remote worker – now known as hybrid working. It will detail what will go into the technology and set-up to make that experience successful.

New York, NY (September 21, 2020) -- IMCCA, a non-profit industry association for Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC), is hosting a webcast on November 17, 2020 to discuss how the Covid19 pandemic has affected the industry, how organizations responded and what can be expected going forward.

The IMCCA Collaboration Thanksgiving Webcast, in lieu of the originally planned UC Week Silicon Valley, will include a panel discussion by industry experts offering insight into what role the industry has played in sustaining businesses during the pandemic and what the future may look like going forward, and an end-user panel that will share plans and experiences to better help attendees grasp the benefits of new working models that were devised to adapt to the unusual situation.
