The Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative
Communications Alliance (IMCCA) will be hosting the
Multi-Media Conferencing pavilion. This is your
opportunity to see and learn about technologies for
implementing video, audio and data/web conferencing
solutions, related accessories, supplies and the
newest technologies in videoconferencing. Leading
suppliers will be showcasing their products within a
special exhibition area.
IMCCA will host a series of seminars covering the
following topics: Global Managed Services (The value
of using an outside provider to manage technology
within an organization versus properly staffing the
internal organization to meet the needs of users.),
HD & Telepresence (How these technologies differ
from traditional videoconferencing and for what
types of meetings an organization uses high
definition and telepresence technologies), Web
Conferencing versus Video Conferencing (What are the
advantages and disadvantages of each for an
organization?), ISDN to IP (How can an organization
successfully migrate from one type of network to
another? What are the pros and cons of ISDN versus
IP technology? What does the future hold?), and the
Integration of Conferencing in the AV Environment
(What are the differences in lighting, sound, and
room layout when conferencing is integrated into an
AV environment? How can an organization be
successful with a room used for multiple types of
meetings?) Seminar attendees will hear from
experienced users, vendors, and consultants who
share their expertise in deploying all types of
conferencing and collaborative communications
technologies.
