Announce Strategic
Companies to provide a full suite of telepresence and
videoconferencing managed services globally
Hillside, NJ - April 30, 2009 - Glowpoint, Inc. (OTCBB: GLOW), a leading provider of advanced video communication solutions, today announced that it has partnered with Affinity VideoNet to offer Glowpoint’s high-quality, IP-based video network and managed video services to Affinity VideoNet’s clients and affiliates and their thousands of telepresence and videoconferencing suites in 60 countries.
As part of the agreement, Affinity VideoNet clients and affiliates will have full access to Glowpoint’s Quality of Service (QoS) IP-based video network overlay services, its global video exchange - known as the Telepresence interExchange Network (“TEN”), and Glowpoint’s VNOC services, which provide the complete management of both telepresence and HD video environments. Glowpoint's services are delivered via its video-centric infrastructure and global network that serve clients ranging from Fortune 100 enterprises and leading broadcast networks to small and medium-sized businesses.
Glowpoint’s VNOC service includes proactive monitoring with daily room sweeps, management and remediation, 24/7 customer support with on-demand concierge services, unified scheduling tools and assistance , call launching, conferencing production and management, and a full complement of usage and performance reporting. Additionally, Glowpoint’s standard, on-demand, usage-based managed conferencing services - for multiple participant conference events - will be offered.
