Meet Our Leadership

The IMCCA Board of Directors is made up of Vendors, End Users, Researchers and Consultants. This month we would like to introduce you to Mary Abram. As an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the professional video and audio electronics industry, Mary Abram has had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of fields, including broadcast and professional video, physical security, telecommunications and digital imaging. Her distinguished and international career with market leaders such as Panasonic and Sony provided valuable experience in the business areas of sales, marketing and public relations, all of which helped prepare her for a career outside of corporate America.

Since her retirement from Sony Electronics in 2003, Ms Abram has successfully pursued a writing career and is currently on contract to a boutique marketing and public relations firm in the New York area, writing articles, press releases and guest columns for a variety of trade publications. As well, in her role as a member of the board of directors for the IMCCA, she oversees and contributes to the Association's marketing and public relations activities.

Ms Abram, combining her passion for writing and love of dogs, is also a staff writer for the journal, Smooth and Wire Quarterly. She and her husband live in Southern California with their Wire Fox Terrier, Ch. Sandhill's Toby Maguire.
